Monitor shots

Over the years I’ve taken a lot of screen shots. I teach film studies and sometimes a particular image from a film strikes me and I want to ponder it … freeze its otherwise transient flow. I watch a lot of foreign language film and sometimes it’s the juxtaposition of subtitle and image that I want to register. I’ve also taken stills  from old home movies. The first image is of me as a young girl in a hula dancer fancy dress.
